Ayman, 26 who work as an office boy in the day and a librarian in the evening in Cairo, sailed past Khaled Al Doseri of Qatar in the first all-lefty semi-finals, 211-182 while Mahmoud also had an easy victory over fellow team-mate, Ahmed Abdel Hamid 207-169 in the other all-Egyptian semi.
The champion took out another lefty, Fahad Al Rageeb of Kuwait, 241-205 in Round 2 and another lefty team-mate, Eslam Ead in a thrilling 249-247 Round 1 match.
The first runner-up, Mahmoud edged Jassim Darwish of Kuwait, 235-226 in Round 2 to reach the semi-finals and second seed, Sithiphol Kunaksorn of Thailand, 211-193 in the first round. |
