Par Excel Singapore in collaboration with Penang Tenpin Bowling Association is pleased to announce that the 1st ISC Grand Seniors International Bowling Championships will be held at Mega Mall Bowling Center, Seberang Prai, Malaysia from October 22 - 26, 2018.

The championship is sanctioned by the Malaysian Tenpin Bowling Congress (MTBC), Asian Bowling Federation (ABF) and World Bowling (WB). Hence, 2018 WB Playing Rules & Regulations will apply.

Local and overseas bowlers aged 60 and above as at 22 October 2018 are eligible to participate in this tournament. All participants must be certified by their own National Federation that they are members of the Federation. Their National Federations must also be current paid up members of WB Zones.

There will be only 1 category, the Open Category and all participants (male or female) will bowl under this category. Male bowlers will get a handicap of 1 pin per year from age 66 onwards (ages as at 22 October 2018, please see Males’ Handicap Table). The maximum handicap for a male bowler is 20 pins.

Female bowlers will get a handicap of 12 pins at age 60 and thereafter, from age 61 onwards, the handicap will increase by 2 pins per year (ages as at 22 October 2018, please see Females’ Handicap Table). The maximum handicap for the female bowler is 50 pins. The handicap is given for each game played and is applicable throughout the tournament.

Bowlers will compete in the TEAM OF FOUR (4 games per bowler) DOUBLES (6 games per bowler), SINGLES (6 games per bowler). The 16 games played will constitute the ALL-EVENTS. The ALL-EVENTS position standing will decide the Qualifiers for the Masters Semi-Finals.
