The objective of this tournament is to foster and promote goodwill, friendship and sportsmanship amongst the youth bowling fraternity. The Brunswick Youth Challenge is organised by Sunway Mega Lanes and sanctioned by Malaysian Tenpin Bowling Congress and Asian Bowling Federation. The tournament will be conducted in accordance to World Bowling Playing Rules as of March 2019.

There are youth three (3) categories namely 10 & Under (born in 2009 or after), 15 & Under (born in 2004 or after) and 21 & Under (born in 1998 or after). Eight (8) pins handicap will be given to girls in all categories except in Team Challenge. The Team Challenge, opened to boys and girls categories, shall consists of 5 bowlers per team and shall bowl six (6) games over two blocks on May 30 and 31, 2019.
