3rd July, Doha: Qatari youth, Bader Al Sada topped the first 6-games series of Squad B at the H.H. Emir Cup 2022 on Day 3 followed by compatriot, Jassim Al-Muarikhi in second and Ali Al Rashdi of UAE in third.
Al Sada amassed a total of 1287, averaging an impressive 214.5 for the youngster. The Qatari started moderately with 193, then picked up his pace with 258 in the second game but managed only 189 at the halfway mark.
Despite bouncing back with 235, Al Sada ended with 191 and 221 topping the squad. Jassim Al-Muraikhi finished second with 1248, just 39 pins adrift while birthday-boy, Ali Rashdi of UAE took third spot with 1199.
Mussa M Barchahi of Iran and Abdulla Hassan Ali rounded the top 5 with 1185 and 1181 respectively. Squad C will take to the lanes later this evening for their 6-games first series. Squad B will resume with their second 6-games series tomorrow at 4.00pm local time and Squad C at 7.00pm.
