12th February, Doha: Shirlene Wong Xue Lin and Jerlyn Lam Si Ting took another slim victory over Czech Republic in the Girl's Doubles event to win Singapore's second gold medal of the 14th International Friendship Youth Bowling Championship 2026 with Puerto Rico and Malaysia finishing third and fourth.
The first Singapore pair of Wong and Lam got off to a good start with 435 to lead the first Malaysian pair of Intan Nor Edryana and Singles bronze medalist, Qurratu'Ain Iadihar by three pins. The second Swedish pair of Nicole Brandin and Elin Bergqvist and the first Spanish pair of Oceane Beatrice Benedicte and Louna Rosa M. Madeleine tied in third with 428.
Singapore 1 continued to set the pace with 445 as Spain 1 moved up to second. The second Puerto Rican pair of Stephanie Nicole Rivera Florentino and Valeria Cristina Colon Rosado took up third ahead of the first Czech pair of Zuzana Kvasnickova and Ema Iwazawa in fourth ahead of Malaysia 1.
Puerto Rico 2 fired 487 to take over the running with Singapore 1 trailing in second by 12 pins. Czech Republic 1 and Malaysia 1 keeping pace in third and fourth.
