2023 IBF World Bowling Championships

International Bowling Federation and Kuwait Bowling Federation are pleased to announce that the 2023 IBF World Bowling Championships will take place at Kuwait Bowling Sporting Club at Salmiya, Kuwait from October 3 to 15, 2023.

Each International Bowling Federation member federation may register a maximum of 6 male and 6 female athletes to participate in 2023 IBF World Championships. The official invitation is attached as Form A with this bulletin. The deadline to submit intention of participation has been extended to or before August 15, 2023.

We would like to remind all IBF Member Federations that only federations who are currently paid up and qualified members of IBF are allowed to participate in the championships.

No. of Qualifiers per Zone:
There are a total of 32 qualifiers in the Men's and Women's divisions. The number of qualifiers per zone is based on the total number of IBF federations as January 2021. Total number of IBF federations at this date is 109.

The IBF Executive Board has decided to open the World Championships to all member federations until the quota of 32 countries are met on a first-come, first served basis.

The reservation forms for the hotels will be included in Bulletin #2 specifying the deadline. All reservations must be made directly with Kuwait Bowling Federation. Please do not contact the hotel before your federation receives Bulletin #2 with the hotel reservation form.
