This year's 27th Thailand International Open Tenpin Bowling Championship will be held at P.S. Bowl in Bangkok from the 25th September - 5th October, 2001. The championship is open to Open, Graded (Ladies and Men's), Senior and Youth divisions. The 27th Thailand International Open will also be the qualifying rounds of the 5th Leg of the CGU Asian Bowling Tour 2001 - the Thailand Leg which will be held on the 7th - 8th October 2001 at P.S. Bowl Bangkapi.

27th September: The 4th CGU Asian Bowling Tour comes to its fifth leg of 2001 when it arrives at P.S. Bowling (Mall 8) in Bangkok from October 7-8, where top 14 men and women bowlers from the Thailand International Open Championship 2001 will be eligible to play.
