With growing number of entries yearly, we are expecting other bumper participants for the championship.
This year, will also see the inclusion of a new division the Senior Division, which is expected to see many former international bowlers both local and overseas make their way to compete and also renew old acquaintances and comradeship. The champion of the Senior Division will take home RM5,000 from a total of RM13,800 available for this category.
The total prize-money for the championship is RM362,500 (approx. US$116,000), to make it one of the best prize paid tournaments in the region.
The Men's champion will win RM40, 000 (approx. US$12,800) while Women's champion will take home RM15,000 (approx. US$4,800). In the Men's Open Division, prize money will be paid out for all positions to the 24th, where the minimum payout with be RM3,000 (approx. US$1,000). While the Women's Open Division will see prizes paid out for top 16, with the minimum payout being RM1,500 (approx. US$500).
The other categories in the championship are the Men and Womens Graded, Milo Junior Masters, Youth Boys and Girls Open and Youth Boys and Girls Graded with equally attractive prize money.
For the foreign bowlers, it will definitely be a championship to seriously consider competing because it is not only a world-class tournament with top bowlers from all over the world competing, but prize-money makes it worthwhile to compete.
