It is a great pleasure for the Netherlands Bowling Federation and the 6th World Tenpin Team Cup Organizing Committee to be able to present the 6th World Tenpin Team Cup 2004. We very much hope, that the content of this section will help you in your planning for participation in the 6th World Tenpin Team Cup in Hoofddorp.

The schedule is based on 16 men teams and 16 women teams participating each with 6 players, in total 192 players. The dressing time will be 45-60 minutes by using Sanction machines.

The schedule is based on the presently known World Tenpin Team Cup format (three round-robin matches, each consist of two games followed by a top 3 stepladder final). To comply with several demands from different parties, our schedule is based on qualification days with 9 matches per day.

The Bowling Centre of Claus! Partyworld has 20 AMF-lanes. There is room for 200 spectators. The lanes are synthetic and the score-system is Qubica. The Bowling Centre is situated about 15 km from the City of Amsterdam.

We have made arrangements with two hotels. One of a very high standard and adjacent to the bowling centre, Courtyard by Marriott. The room rate will be around Euro 145.00 for 2 persons, including breakfast. Single rate is Euro 125.00. There is a limited number of rooms available.

The other hotel with enough capacity to house all the players, officials and guests is Hotel Haarlem Zuid. This Hotel is located some 15 km from the bowling centre and approximately 15 mins. by bus. Room rate is Euro 82.50 for single and Euro 95.00 for double, including break-fast.
