Both title contenders had a double in their opening two frames and whilst Mansour spared in the third and rolled another strike in the fourth frame, Mohannad opened his third frame.

The Kuwaiti struck in the fourth and spared in the fifth but the Qatari encountered a split in the fifth frame to draw level at the halfway mark. Mansour struck his next two frames as Mohannad struck once and spared the other.

When Mansour added another double strike in frames eighth and ninth, his opponent had back-to-back splits which decided the outcome of the tie. Mansour struck twice again in the tenth and bonus frame to romp home an emphatic victory, 246-160 over Mohannad.
