21st January, Bangkok: Suphan Sinthusuwan delivered host nation, Thailand's first gold medal of the 13th ASEAN Para Games Thailand 2025 Tenpin Bowling with victory in the TPB8 Men's Singles event underway at Blu-O Rhythmn and Bowl Espanade Ratchada.

The Thai amassed a 6-game total of 1104 to win the gold medal ahead of Rosheedey Faizal Bin Roslan of Malaysia taking home the silver medal with 1024, a massive 80 pins adrift. Francisco Ednaco of Philippines picked up the bronze medal with 974.

Ednaco's team-mate, Jaime Manginga missed the podium by 9 pins after finishing fourth with 965. Supparat Ponmingmad of Thailand rounded the top 5 in a field of nine bowlers on wheelchair.

Men's TPB1 and TPB3 will take to the lanes in the afternoon for their 6 games Singles event. The Men's TPB2 and TPB4 will contest their Singles tomorrow morning while the Men's TPB9 and Women's TPB8 will compete in their Singles event in the afternoon.
