25th August, Jakarta: Talal Ali Al Marri and Abdulrahman Al Doseri sealed the Boy's Doubles gold medal for Qatar at the 25th Asian Junior Bowling Championships while Malaysian debutants, Nur Syahira Amani Bte Abdullah and Helena Bte Jamal of Malaysia snatched the Girl's gold in their final game.
Vong Cheng Hong and Lucio Marcello Chiu of Macau, China had topped the Doubles opening squad with a splendid 2585 with Vong posting 1339 and Chiu contributing 1246. The first Qatar A pair of Mesaed Al Muraikhi and Abdulla Mohammad Al Dosary finished second with 2547.
Singles gold medalist, Tran Hoang Khoi partnered Tan Dat Nguyen to take third with 2540 while the first Malaysian pair and first Kuwaiti pair rounded out the top five.
