FORMAT OF PLAY FOR MASTERS' FINALS
Open Division Men & Women
The Finalists and Defending Champion will bowl 16 games scratch (in 2 blocks of 8 games each, over 2 days). In the event that the Defending Champion does not defend the title, the vacancy will go to the Local/Overseas Pool. The top 6 Men and Women based on total pinfalls shall advance to the Step-Ladder Grand Finals.
Step-Ladder Grand Finals
Match 1 : The 4th, 5th and 6th placed bowler shall play a one-game roll-off, total pinfalls to count from scratch. The winner shall proceed to Match 2.
Match 2 : The winner of Match 1 shall play the 2nd and 3rd placed bowler in a one-game roll-off, total pinfalls to count from scratch. The winner shall proceed to Match 3.
Match 3 : The winner of Match 2 shall play the 1st placed bowler over one game, total pinfalls to count from scratch. If the 1st placed bowler wins the game, he/she shall be declared the Champion. If the 1st placed bowler loses, one more game will be played, counting from scratch and the winner of this game shall be declared the Champion.
Graded Division Men & Women
The Finalists shall bowl 12 games scratch, total pinfalls to decide the winners.
Senior Division & Youth Division Boys & Girls
The Finalists shall bowl 10 games scratch, total pinfalls to decide the winners. |
