30th July, Hong Kong: Hong Kong Tenpin Bowling Congress, host of the 22nd Asian Tenpin Bowling Championships, has released the final Bulletin 4 together with the Medium and Short oil patterns to be used for the championships which will be held at Hong Kong Bowling City at Emax Shopping Center in Kowloon Bay from September 2 to 11, 2012.

Bulletin 4 contains information on the two oiling patterns - the 36 feet Short pattern and the 41 feet Medium pattern which will be dressed by Kustodian ION Sport Model. Lane conditioner and lane cleaner of choice for the championships are Infinity and Defense C.

23 out of 38 member federations of the Asian Bowling Federation (ABF) have confirmed participation: Australia, Bahrain, China, Chinese Taipei, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kuwait, Macau, Malaysia, New Zealand, Pakistan, People's Republic of Korea, Philippines, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, UAE, Uzbekistan and the host country Hong Kong.

The top 12 countries in each gender with the highest All Events total of the top five players will qualify for the 2013 Combined World Championships in Las Vegas, USA. The top eight countries with the highest All Events total of the top five players - men and women - will qualify for the 2013 World Games in Cali, Colombia.

Countries, who do not send a complete men's and women's team (minimum five players each) will not be eligible to compete for the World Games spots.
