The UAE Bowling Federation (UAEBF) will be hosting of the 11th WTBA Asian Youth Bowling Championship 2001 from the 13th - 19th July, 2001 at Dubai Bowling Centre, Dubai.
This championship is sanctioned by Asian Bowling Federation and organized by UAEBF. A total of 15 countries have confirmed partiticaption. They are Australia, Bahrain, China, Chinese Taipei, Eygpt, Hong Kong, Iran, Japan, Korea, Kuwait, Malaysia, Philippines, Qatar, Singapore and host UAE. |

17th July: Malaysia picked up their second Gold medal winning the Girl's Team of Four event and a Silver in the Boy's at Dubai Bowling Center, UAE. Malaysia swept the All Events by taking the Boy's Gold, Girl's Gold and a Bronze medal. |
15th July: Kim Hyo Mi, Wu Cheng Jung wins first Gold medals for Korea and Chinese Taipei in the Girl's and Boy's Singles event respectively at Dubai Bowling Center, UAE. |
