The event is held under the supreme patronage of H.H. Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, Chairperson of the UAE General Women’s Union, Supreme Chairperson of Family Development Foundation and Chairwomen of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood.

The World Bowling Women’s Championship is bowling’s most prestigious event for women athletes. This incredible tournament will take place in Abu Dhabi at the purpose built Khalifa International Bowling Centre in the world class Zayed Sports City.

Over 200 of the best female bowlers from 35 countries are expected to descend upon the sports facility from December 5th – 14th in 2015. Last year, the same event for the men was held at this sensational sporting venue and this year’s women’s tournament promises to be as exciting and action packed.

The tournament will see athletes fighting to win gold for their country in the singles, doubles, trios, five person team and the All Events categories. Following these rounds, the Masters will take place where the top 16 bowlers in the tournament compete to be crowned the overall champion.
