27th August, Jakarta: Singapore Boys A and Singapore Girls swept the Team of Four gold medals at the 25th Asian Junior Bowling Championships with Singapore Boys Team B added a bronze medal while Dylan Lam Nok Him of Hong Kong and Helena Bte Jamal of Malaysia won the Boys and Girls All Events gold.

Darius See Zhi Yun, Izz Irfan Ismail, Lucas Goh Seow Rui and Kaelan Lim of Singapore Team A, who had led the first block of three games yesterday with a big margin of 176, did not get off to a good start but managed 827 in the fourth game of the second block.

Qatar Team A, who was second overnight, slipped behind Singapore Team B after a lowly 792. The leader then fired a sizzling 931 to pull away comfortably of the pack. Gareth Goh, Gauther Tan, Xavier Ng Zi Yuan and Thaddaeus Mok moved closer to the team-mates with an equally stunning 913 in the fifth game.

Singapore A eased off with 763 to seal their first gold medal of the championship with 5207 total.

Meanwhile, Singles gold medalist, Carine Foo Rui Qi, Rachel Foo Shi Ern, Shannon Lee Hyi En and Nura Salsabila Zulkifli completed Singapore's clean sweep of the Team of Four with victory in the Girl's division. The Singapore quartet had trailed Malaysia by 96 pins in the first block but managed to overall them with an 82-pin margin with 4515 total.

Khaira Nur Aleesya, Ayra Deliza Bte Mohd Kamarul Azizi, Mur Syahira Amani and Helena Bte Jamal of Malaysia settled for the silver medal with 4433. Philippines' Rachel Marie Nedamo, Karmella Denmari Yap, Franchesca Nicole Togores and Charlize Anne Calamba survived Chinese Taipei A challenge to earn the bronze medal with 4167.

Chinese Taipei A missed the podium by 42 pins to finish fourth followed by their compatriots, Chinese Taipei B completing the top five with 4125 and 3774 respectively. Doubles gold medalist, Helena Bte Jamal won her second gold medal of the championships after topping the Girl's All Events standings with 2469.

Carine Foo added a silver medal with 3464, just five pins from the Malaysian. Charlize Anne Calamba took home her second bronze medal with 3445.

Singles and Team silver medalist, Dylan Lam finally landed a gold medal for topping the Boy's All Events standings with 4112. Doubles gold medalist, Talal Ali Al Marri of Qatar A earned the silver medal with 3972 while Singles gold medalist, Tran Hoang Khoi of Vietnam slipped to third to take home the bronze medal with 3958.

The top 16 boys and top 16 girls in their respectively All Events standings qualified for tomorrow's Masters Finals. Hussain Qasem of Kuwait A missed the cut by 16 pins after finishing 17th with 3719. Hoang Khanh My Chole Hee Jian of Vietnam defeated Tsai Yu-Jen of Chinese Taipei A, 212-156 in a one-game tie-breaker to qualify in 16th position in the Girl's division.

Mr Krisna Bayu, Indonesian Olympic Executive Committee Member presented the medals to the Team of Four winners while Mr Hasrial Arimis, Secretary General of Persatuan Boling Indonesia gave away the mascots.
