It is a great pleasure for the Danish Bowling Federation and the Lovvang Bowling Centre to present the Women's World Championships 2005 for all WTBA member federations.

Presidium meetings, the FIQ Congress and the WTBA Congress will be held 30 July - 2 August 2005 at Hotel Hvide Hus in Aalborg. The Women's World Championships 2005 will be conducted in Lovvang Bowling Centre 3-14 August 2005.

The meetings and the Women's World Championships 2005 will be hosted in a co-operation between 4 main partners: the World Tenpin Bowling Association, the Danish Bowling Federation, the Lovvang Bowling Centre and the City of Aalborg.

We are furthermore proud to be able to present Brunswick as the main sponsor for the WWC 2005. With their sponsorship the company are contributing to an even better and high quality event.

The Lovvang Bowling Centre was opened in 1976, but all lanes and most of the equipment was changed in 2000 and in 2004 30 brand new Brunswick GS-X pin setters were installed. The centre is completely renovated and ready to meet the big challenge of hosting the Women's World Championships 2005 - the 16th WTBA World Championships since 1954.
