It is a great pleasure to the Finnish Bowling Federation and the Tali Bowl to present the World Youth Championships 2010 Bulletin no. 1 for all WTBA member federations.

The World Youth Championships 2010 will be hosted in a co-operation between four main partners: the World Tenpin Bowling Federation, the

Finnish Bowling Federation, Helsinki Bowling Association and Oy Bowling Ab from July 23 to August 1, 2010.

Tali Bowl was built in 1973 and has hosted the European Championships in 1977 and the World Championships in 1987 among other international and National Championships throughout the years.

We are pleased to release Bulletin 1 which details the Preliminary Schedule, Official Hotel, Tali Bowling Centre, various facilities & services, fees, forms and deadlines for submissions of forms.

The official hotel is Radisson Blu Royal Hotel situated 19 km, about 35 minutes drive from the airport and 7 km, about 20 minutes drive from Tali Bowling Centre. The room rates are Euro 130 for Single occupancy and Euro 150 for Double/Twin occupancy inclusive of breakfast. All rooms have wireless internet access free of charge.

All hotel reservations must be made through Finnish Bowling Federation. We can only guarantee transportation and other services, if the reservations were made to us.

Downtown Helsinki offers a relaxed atmosphere, a nice shopping area, walking streets, cafés, many domestic and international restaurants. The weather in Helsinki is normally warm in July with temperatures around 15 to 25 degrees Celsius.
