13th July, Incheon: Singles finalist, Arianne Tay of Singapore, led Colleen Pee to take the second squad of the Girl's Doubles qualifying rounds at the 2024 IBF World Youth Championships, securing their spot in the Matchplay Rounds.

Tay and Pee got off to a superb start with 217 in their opening game to lead Singles finalist, Stella Lokfors and Tiiamari Laukkanen of Finland by 3 pins and Singles bronze medalist, Yumi Yuzuriha Seragaki and Hidemi Segami Makiya of Peru in third, a further 2 pins away.

The Singapore pair added a higher game of 224 in their second, 206 in their third before setting the lanes ablaze with a stunning 269 to draw clear in front of the pack. Japan's Riria Hamasaki and Kiri Watanabae moved into second while Sweden's Maja Engberg and Nora Johansson followed behind.

The leader continued their relentless pace reeling in 225, 223, 256, 191, 180 and ended with a good 248 to take the squad and the overall lead with 2239. Japan claimed second spot with 2116 and Sweden third with 2079. Theh top three from this squad occupied the top three positions in the combined overall qualifying standings.
