Qatar Bowling Federation is proud to annouce that the 16th Qatar International Bowling Open Tournament will be held from December 10 - 16, 2016 following the World Singles Championships 2016. The tournament, which is organized by the Qatar Bowling Federation and sanctioned by ABF and World Bowling, is open to Players from all World Bowling member federations.

It will be eighth time that the tournament is an EBT (European Bowling Tour) ranking system and is EBT 2016-17 Platinum leg. It will also be the 2017 PBA-WTBA World Bowling Tour stop.

The format of this tournament is a singles mixed and women will have 8 pins handicap (per game). It will be played in Qatar Bowling Center which is equipped with 32 QubicaAMF lane.
